A site with information about the old time string band
Has anyone heard of the Vitamin String Quartet? And if so, where can I learn their music?

i love their music and i play string bass, and i was just wondering if someone could tell me where to get their music, or if they just take the music offline, and play it on their Instruments?
any help is great!

I actually love some of their music even though they’re not a true classical ensemble. I especially like their covers of Coldplay and Kanye West.

I e-mailed Vitamin Records several time asking whether or not I could purchase sheet music from them, but I never received a single response. Damn record industry.

The great thing is, though, none of the VSQ’s music would be really hard to transcribe. I agree with Jacinta that you should try writing some of it out.

Despite their name, they are not a classical music ensemble. They play mostly pop and rock music on traditional instruments. So this is a pop/ rock question not a classical music one.

Read all about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_String_Quartet

Check the links at the bottom of the page.

Basically, you need someone to transcribe/arrange the music for the particular instruments. Why not have a go yourself? Great ear training!
