A site with information about the old time string band
Does anyone know the name of the String Quartet in "When the Levees Broke?"?

I just finished watching the first 2 acts of "When the Levees Broke" by Spike Lee and there was a BEAUTIFUL string quartet piece played before the credits (and the walking to New Orleans song). Does anyone know the name of the piece and/or the string quartet that played it? I’ve looked EVERYWHERE!

The score to this is by Terence Blanchard. You might enjoy this article form the SF Chronicle concerning Blanchard and his direct involvement and experience of the Katrina misery:

All the best.
