A site with information about the old time string band
For a wedding ceremony, would you rather listen to a choir, string quartet, tenor/soprano, or brass ensemble?

the music pieces should be traditional and the mood is solemn. is there a particular sound that appeals to most people?

string quartet. Classy, easy on the ears, makes ceremony really extra-special. Doesn’t take away from the sacred, special, holy, romantic, memorable occasion…but adds to it without being intrusive..

don’t do a string instruments or brass instruments bc, strings sometimes sound too formal or too rich cocktail partyish, and brass is just loud and obnoxious.
