AGH. okay. so i bought a new ipod and all and i want me music from my old ipod on to my new ipod. i fiddled with something and now all my songs on itunes are gone but the music is still on my ipod. howw do i fixx it?!
i cant put my songs back on my computer thats the problemm.

well you could put all the songs back on your computer from your old ipod. you might try windows media player though or not. then once they are on there, sync them to the other.

when you consolidated your itunes library it puts them in some sort of compressed file on your pc. i think this feature is suppose to help save space. i was afraid to try this feature. i dont understand why you just didnt register your new ipod with your itunes account then all you had to do was sync your itunes library to your new ipod. i suggest you try the support pages of itunes or apple.
