My fiance and I are getting married in July and I haven’t had a chance to look for much ceremony music. We would really like something beautiful and ‘gentle’ for flute, voice(s), or a string quartet, etc. Basically some nice, live, classical music.
If you have any ideas (like your favorite classical piece), that would be fabulous! Thank you! ![]()
My fiance are going to use Air on a G string (Bach), Air from water music (Handel), Jesu Joy of Man’s Desire and the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba for our ceremony. Pacabel’s canon is ok but EVERYONE now a days is using it, so I’m sick of it. If you do a google search, there are plenty of sites that give ceremony music suggestions and music samples.
Good Luck
Pachelbel’s Canon in D
you can get this in full orchestral, just strings, etc.
This is the music i will be walking down the aisle to. Search for Classical Wedding Music and you will get a lot of others. Some sites let you listen to them (or a part of them)

Ave Maria is wonderful……………sung in latin is better, different meaning to the words when in English. look in church books they often have lots of beautiful songs. Have you looked at Disney movies? In pete’s dragon there is a wonderful song, "I’ll be your candle on the water" check these songs out.
