What Was That Jazz Song?

Hello Folks:

How many of you guys listen to smooth jazz? In addition to the fact that I listen to EDM (electronic dance music, such as techno, electronica, drum & bass, house, etc,), rock music (industrial, metal, punk, classics, oldies, etc.), classical music (pipe organ, chamber, symphony, etc.), country music (folk, bluegrass, mountain, mainstream, etc.), and blues (traditional, modern & zydaco), I listen to a lot of different types of jazz as well. I have a major question, though.

Back in either the mid to late 1990s or the early 2000s when I was home one night watching one of the local channels. Soon, an television sitcom came on (I never got its name), with its theme song playing and everything. I think that the show was either a crime drama or a comedic drama show; I am not sure. Well, I just loved the theme song; it was smooth and jazzy. I also heard this same theme song on the radio, around the time they had a station for smooth jazz.

I am sure the show was not NEW YORK UNDERCOVER or MOONLIGHTING. I am sure that there are some legal shows that feature good jazzy theme songs. I am looking for the song that I heard. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

The only Show from the 90’s that i can remember that had a jazzy theme to it was NIGHT COURT. If the is’nt the show you are looking for, go to goggle or yahoo search and try to find it.
